When: Monday & Wednesday evenings – Two consecutive weeks

Time: 6:00 – 7:00 or 7:30 – 8:30

Cost: $120.00 per student, approximately 8 students per group

Date: First session for 2012 starts April 30th

Instructors: Rob Kohler - 28 years of teaching experience, and Bill Walsh - 38 years of teaching experience

Program includes: 4-one hour classes with 2 instructors per group; supervised FREE Saturday practice session 5-6 pm ($30.00 value); FREE fitted glove ($9.00 value); FREE range passes ($14.00 value). You will learn the game with Big Oak Custom fitted clubs. We recommend that beginners do not purchase clubs until their personal fitting is completed. BASIC and ADVANCED Levels available.

Basic Level FAQs


For whom: Beginners and those who have had no prior instruction.

Class coverage: Grip position, stance and set-up, alignment, pre-shot routine, practice drills and basic course management.

Equipment analysis & club fitting: What is the best for you? An equipment profile will be kept on file for each student.

Orchestration of golf club set: What is in your bag? We will create the combination of clubs most suitable for your style of play.

Interim assistance: NEED HELP? Saturday afternoons will be a time set aside for organized practice with your instructors. Rain-dates will be held on Saturday afternoons as well.

Our Goals: Understanding of your pre-shot routine in detail, proper swing thoughts, efficient practice methods. This will help your confidence to take this knowledge to the golf course.

Advanced Level FAQs


For whom: For graduates of the Basic level or experienced golfers with recent previous instruction.

Class coverage: Swing analysis, definition of strengths and weaknesses, extensive short game and bunker play and detailed course management with specific methods for shot selection.

Equipment Analysis & club fitting: What is best for you? An equipment file will be kept on file for each student.

Rules of golf: A simple application of the “rules of golf” will be covered.

Self analysis: A process in learning to observe one’s self and how to compare yourself to the great players. Also how to watch a golf tournament.

Interim assistance: NEED HELP? Saturday afternoons will be a time set aside for organized practice with your instructors. Rain-dates will be held on Saturday afternoons as well.

Our Goals: To build trust in yourself and your swing, regardless of the challenge the golf course offers you. Secondly, to apply your imagination within your short game routine to help lower your score.
